Soy & Eggs
WEEK 4
Finishing up Stage 2: The Gradual Re-introduction of Foods
Soy was weirdly the hardest to avoid, but eggs are my comfort. Bringing them back this week will be a pleasure--unless my body revolts.
Menu (8/24-8/30)
*Soy
M--Bocca Burgers
T--Shrimp & grits w/tomato salad
*Eggs
W--pork chops w/ coconut rice & snap peas
*Visited my in-laws & had a lovely brunch with locally farmed organic eggs. Now that is the way to return to eggs. :D
R--hot, tired, & in need of comfort food, we treated ourselves to burritos from our local Greasy Spoon. It wasn't egg-based, but somehow the breakfast burrito (usually my favorite) sounded revolting in the heat.
F--left-over zucchini sticks (from the aforementioned Greasy Spoon), sausages & broccoli
*Eat ALL the foods! --> Celebrate & use up the last languishing peaches & blueberries in a pie.

Sat--mee goreng
Sun--ceviche
It has been hot. Our A/C is on the fritz. Other than being generally uncomfortable, there has been nothing much to report this week. I have started on probiotics and will continue that for a week to see if there is any change. If things don't get better, the next step is to cut out alcohol, sugar, & caffeine. :(
